World Water Week
August 25-30, 2019, Stockholm, Sweden
In its 2018 edition, more than 3,300 people and around 380 organizations from 135 countries participated. This event brings together experts, professionals, decision-makers, business innovators and young professionals from a wide variety of sectors and countries with the goal of networking, exchanging ideas, fostering different thinking, and developing solutions to the most difficult challenges and pressing issues related to water today.

9th World Water Forum
March 2021, Dakar, Senegal

The 9th World Water Forum will take place for the first time in the Sub-Saharan Africa region and will be co-organized by the World Water Council and the Government of Senegal, under the general theme: "Water security for peace and development ".

Water Fund Design Workshop in Lima, Peru
May 2018, Lima, Peru
The Alliance organized the first face-to-face technical workshop focused on the design of Water Funds from May 28 to June 1, 2018, in Lima, Peru. A select group of 55 people from 10 countries in Latin America (Mexico, Guatemala, El Salvador, Costa Rica, Panama, Colombia, Peru, Chile, Argentina, and Brazil) participated on behalf of 26 organizations from different sectors. During the workshop, which was guided by a TNC mentor, the participants explored the first and second phases of the methodology Desired State of the Water Funds; and previously they had to complete an online training on the Conservation website. In the end, the participants confirmed that the workshop met the established objectives and would recommend training to their colleagues.

8º World Water Forum

Organized by the World Water Council (WWC) every three years in a different host country, the Forum offers a unique platform in which the water community and key decision makers can collaborate and advance the global challenges related to water in the long-term. It brings together actors from different fields, such as politics, multilateral institutions, academia, civil society, and the private sector, among others.
